$ TIP OF THE DAY: Want to DIY, but don't know how? Take a digital picture of what u what to do/fix in your house/apartment. Take said pic to nearest home improvement retailer (Home Depot), show and explain. Listen carefully, take notes, buy the smallest quantity of material suggested, or better yet, get them from a less expensive store. Ex: I get most of my 'tools' from the $1 Store (Dollar Tree). Lastly, just do it!
The Guys and Gals at Home Depot have taught me how to lay tile in my bathroom, plug massive holes in the wall, replace the flipper in my toilet, paint and even how to shampoo my carpet!
HD has DIY classes you can take for FREE (my fav word). If you plan on being a homeowner, it’s in your best interest to learn how to fix some things on your own…
